Abstract
Lead-free piezoelectric ceramics, Mn-doped (K0.44Na0.52Li0.04)(Nb0.80Ta0.20)O3 were prepared using the traditional solid-state reaction method. The dielectric constant (epsivr), piezoelectric constant (d33), electromechanical coupling coefficient (kp), and mechanical quality factor (Qm) with different doping value were investigated. The results indicated that the doping of Mn could decrease sintering temperature, and improve density the ceramic as well as piezoelectric properties. The ceramics doped with 0.2 wt% MnCO3 had the best piezoelectric properties.
