Abstract
A chemical electrodeless deposition method has been applied to grow a layered superconducting film of ${\mathrm{K}}_{\mathit{x}}$${\mathrm{MoS}}_{2}$. The growth rate of the films has been optimized. Hall-mobility and dc-conductivity measurements have been made in the temperature range 100 to 400 K. The films show a sharp drop in the absorption spectra at 4.5 \ensuremath{\mu}m and a superconducting transition between 8 and 12 K.
