Abstract

Unique or repeated prepubertal uterine bleeding without other signs of puberty is a peculiar manifestation of precocious female development Its frequency is less than one tenth that of cases of isosexual precocity in girls Two girls aged 8 years and 6 months and 8 years and 7 months were admitted to our clinic with the complaint of vaginal bleeding in the absence of other signs of precocious sexual development The cases diagnosed premature menarche are presented because of rare presentation in the light of literature Key words: Menstruation Menarche Puberty
