Abstract
Abstract This chapter expounds on the procedure by which the Court of Justice delivers preliminary rulings on the validity of Union law. It evaluates what acts may be subject to such preliminary rulings and what acts can be used to assess the validity of Union acts. It also considers the effects of such preliminary rulings and the relationship with the action for annulment.
