Abstract
Preliminary observations from one nutrition awareness project — Approaches to Failure to Ihrive – in progress in the Ngaanyatjarra Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara region of central Australia are discussed, current strategies are listed and the need for multi-faceted solutions emphasised. A more rigorous quantitative evaluation is recommended, within the constraints of funding and access to data.
