Abstract

In women of reproductive age (15-49 years) somatic health status is determined by high rates of circulatory system diseases, diseases of the genitourinary system and neoplasms. Our experience in follow-up of pregnant with benign tumors of the uterus showed that pregnancy and childbirth pass in these women with complications. In addition, previous studies of placenta in women with leyomioma of the uterus and thyroid disease, conducted at the Institute , which were aimed at determining the morphological and immunohistochemical features placenta showed changes in tumor markers horial structures with the presence of the expression of CEA (carcinoembryonic antigen) p53 (tumor marker), proliferative markers (PCNA, Ki-67), cytokeratin YII and Vimentin. Therefore, determination of the characteristics of pregnancy, childbirth, obstetric and perinatal complications in women with uterine leiomyoma, where during the last pregnancy tumor markers were found in the placenta, is important in our view, the more especially that the available domestic and foreign literature we have not found this answer about this question. The purpose of the research was to study peculiarities of pregnancy flow, delivery, obstetric and perinatal complications in women with uterine leiomyoma where during the last delivery tumor markers were found in the placenta. We have processed data of archival birth stories of women with uterine leiomyoma and thyroid disorders who gave birth in obstetric clinics of the Institute and the tumor markers in the placenta were identified during previous labors. Analysis of pregnancy flow and childbirth was provided in 12 women with uterine leiomyomas in the placenta of which in previous labors were identified tumor markers (I subgroups). Comparison group consisted of 15 women with thyroid disease, in their placenta in previous labors also were found tumor markers (subgroup II).
