Abstract

A case is reported of a twenty-four year old primigravida in whom spontaneous rupture of a rudimentary uterine horn occurred after five and one-half months amenorrhea. The ruptured horn and dead fetus were removed at laparotomy. The patient recovered. Two months later an x-ray picture taken following transuterine injection of lipiodol showed the remaining horn and tube of a bicornuate uterus.
