Abstract
The International Conference on Advanced Materials and New Technologies in Modern Materials Science was held at Tomsk Polytechnic University, 9-11 November, 2015. The conference was organized by major Siberian institutions: National Research Tomsk Polytechnic University, Institute of Strength Physics and Materials Science SB RAS, Russian Materials Science Center, National Research Tomsk State University, Novosibirsk State Technical University, Novosibirsk, Russian Federation.The Conference brought together academics, professionals and young researchers to discuss the current issues of the development and manufacturing of construction materials, improving their properties, as well as the creation of new materials based on new ideas about the nature of the behavior of a solid body under external impact.
