Preface

Abstract

2020 3rd International Conference on Modeling, Simulation and Optimization Technologies and Applications (MSOTA2020), with its two year success, is a leading annual international event in the areas of Modeling, Simulation and Optimization Technologies and Applications. We are pleased to report the continuous support of the entire community: authors, attendees, committee members, reviewers, sponsors and organizers. This state of affairs reflects these research areas are important to current academic development.In the current severe situation of pneumonia epidemic, MSOTA2020 was rescheduled to be held on November 23, 2020 via Tencent Online platform, in order to actively respond to the national call for epidemic prevention and control, and ensure the safety of all participants. Before the formal opening, our conference staff set up a test meeting room for all participants to test the video and audio in advance to avoid the imperfection caused by network instability and other related factors.MSOTA2020 online meeting was held with excellent and extraordinary Keynote Speeches of Prof. Syh-Jong Jang from The University of Texas at Austin, U. S. A and Prof. Angelo Sifaleras from University of Macedonia, Greece. Prof. Jang made passionate speech entitled Effects of Exploring a New Flipped Class Model on University Courses, and Prof. Sifaleras made his detailed and professional presentation about Hybrid Optimization Methods and Technologies. After this two keynote speeches, our authors make 10-20 mins oral presentation and poster presentation.MSOTA2020 International Program Committee received a total of 206 submissions from 6 countries and regions, from which only 90 submissions were selected and submitted for publication in Journal of Physics: Conference Series by IOP Publisher. All anonymous submissions were reviewed by 2-3 experts in the relevant areas and based on their ranking, technical remarks and strict selection criteria the papers were chosen to the various tracks. We note that reviews of submissions by committee members were hidden from their authors throughout the entire review process. All selected papers was detected the instances of overlapping and similar text via iThenticate software.Based on the main topics of all article submissions and the comments and suggestions of reviewers, MSOTA2020 Proceedings will be divided into 1. System Modeling and Simulation Technology, and 2. Algorithm Optimization and Intelligent Computing with the professional help of Publication Chairs.MSOTA2020 was made possible by the joint efforts of numerous people and organizations worldwide. We take this opportunity to thank the program committee members for their invaluable help in producing the conference program. We further thank all the conference attendees.
