Abstract

18th International Conference “Aviation and Cosmonautics” (AviaSpace-2019) The 18th International Conference “Aviation and Cosmonautics” (AviaSpace-2019) was held by Moscow Aviation Institute (National Research University) on 18-22 November, 2019 in Moscow, Russia. The Program Committee was presented by scientists from Nanyang Technological University (Singapore), University of San Diego and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA), Polytechnic University of Milan (Italy) and Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute (Russia). The conference was a great assembly of specialists, scientists and experts from enterprises and organizations of the aerospace and other hi-tech industries, researchers, Ph.D. students from higher educational institutes who gathered to share their research findings and wealth of experiences in the following scientific sessions: (a) Artificial intelligence for the aerospace industry; (b) Aviation and cosmonautics; (b) Design of morphing surfaces: structural and technological issues; (c) Multi objective optimization of the dynamic behavior in robotics; (d) Modern challenges of aircraft development and some ways of their realization; (e) Multi-objective optimization approach covering two flight conditions for S-Duct inlets design; (f) Up-to-date status of International Nuclear Power and Propulsion System flagship (INPPS) and future high power space transportation; (g) Design of a rotor supported by aerodynamic bearings suitable for achieving high circumferential speed; and (h) Assessment and demonstration of the fire testing compliance for Civil Propulsion System.AviaSpace-2019 offered opportunity for interaction of engineers, scientists, academicians and young researchers, which enabled the participants to discuss and exchange ideas on development of aviation and space industry as one of the world priorities and to find solutions to current problems and challenges facing the aviation and space industries and experience and knowledge exchange between the scientific and industrial enterprises and universities of the world. The Organizing Committee sincerely appreciate the different bodies and individuals who worked hard to ensure the spectacular success of the important event. All manuscripts were analyzed according to the acceptable criteria as novelty of the presented work, reasonable and detailed description of the experimental procedure, understandable interpretation of the presented data, significant and evident proves to verify the proposed hypothesis, the absence of plagiarism, adequacy of references, the quality of language by eminent specialists in different scientific subject areas in Nigeria, China, Russia, USA, France, Croatia, South Africa, Italy, Singapore, Egypt, United Kingdom, Ukraine, India, Spain, Brazil, Japan, Malaysia, Netherlands, Belgium, and Poland.
