Abstract
This INCRID 2024 Conference Proceedings comprises the selected papers contributing to the 2024 International Conference on Environment, Sustainability Issues, and Community Development, which was held in Semarang by the Department of Environmental Engineering, Diponegoro University, on a six-year basis, with the goal of promoting all factors related to environmental technology, science, education, and innovation to achieve the desired sustainable development goals during this era of globalization. The Conference is one of the main outcomes of the INCRID 2024 Observatory, whose main scope is to collect, analyze, and report information, research, and studies dealing with the most urgent and hot topics influencing the transformation directions in contemporary cities from a forward-looking perspective. The initiative is supported and fed by the research activity run at the Department of Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Diponegoro, and by constant transformative plans led by the City of Semarang. INCRID 2024 was held in Semarang on August 29th and 30, 2024, with the opportunity to join the conference online for those who were not able to attend in person, under the overarching theme of “Fostering Innovation in Environmental Technology and Management Within the Framework of the Sustainable Development Goals”. The conference was organized into six main topics: List of Green Infrastructure, Energy Conservation and Efficiency, Urban Development and Resilient Community, Sustainable Development, Environment, Health, and Safety, Environmental Science, Technology, and Education and INCRID 2024 Scientific Committee Members and Reviewers are available in this Pdf.
