Preface

Abstract

The International Conference on Power Electronics and Energy System (ICPEES 2024) has been held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia during March 1-3, 2024 in hybrid format, including both on-site and cloud meeting. This conference aimed to provide an attractive platform for academics, scientists, researchers, experts, and students to express and discuss their interests in power electronics and energy system. The participants were from almost every part of the world, with various background, including China, Malaysia, Morocco, Indonesia, India, Turkey, Brunei, South Sudan and more. There were two renowned speakers who illustrated their latest research, to include Prof. Ismail Musirin from Universiti Teknologi MARA and Prof. M A Hannan from Sunway University. The conference also had 2 technical sessions. ICPEES 2024 became an effective communication platform for all the participants who took the opportunity to share their research results and discuss potential scientific and engineering developments from their work. This contributed to the success of the conference. The conference proceedings are a compilation of the accepted papers and represent an interesting outcome of the conference. All papers in the proceedings have passed the vigorous review process involving reviewers by the technical program committee. The variety of research topics presented in the conference and novelty exhibited in the papers published in the proceedings demonstrated the impact of ICPEES 2024. We would like to acknowledge all of those who supported ICPEES 2024. Each individual and institutional help were very important for the success of this conference. Especially we would like to thank the committee chairs, committee members and reviewers, for their tremendous contribution in conference organization and peer review of the papers. We sincerely hope that ICPEES 2024 was a forum for excellent discussions that put forward new ideas, promote collaborative research, and support researchers as they take their work forward. We are sure that the proceedings will serve as an important research source of references and knowledge, which will lead to not only scientific and engineering progress but also other new products and processes.
