Abstract

This chapter discusses various aspects of the theory of topological algebras. More particularly, locally multiplicatively convex (topological) algebras (abbreviated to locally m -convex algebras) are systematically employed. Topological algebras that are not necessarily locally convex are also systematically applied. In addition, it includes some current applications of topological algebras to other aspects of mathematical analysis and even vice-versa applications of the latter to new developments in topological algebras theory.
