Preface

Abstract

Department of Geography, Universitas Negeri Malang is a one of well-established department in Indonesia. As a strive for developing academics activities the department are proud to host scientific meeting through 3rd International Conference on Geography and Education (ICGE), on 29 July 2021.The aim of our conference is to bring together scientists, teachers and practitioners both from academia and research institution, and this is reflected by the different scientific sessions that cover various relevant topics, namely: • Environmental Science and Engineering to Achieve Sustainability • Science, Education and Technology Innovation for Environmental Sustainability • Social Science to deal with Environmental Sustainability • The Role of Study Geography and Geoscience to Achieve Sustainable Development GoalsWe, as organizers, regularly and consistently going to improve our conference. Therefore, we decided to provide all contributors with the opportunity to publish their papers. Clearly, this is understood and appreciated by many participants of our meeting: more than 80% of all authors choose to also publish their proceedings papers in this special issue, which consequently, provides an excellent overview of the main topics of the conference. Most of the presenter choose IOP EES for their scientific publications.
