Preface

Abstract

Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) is honoured to host the International Nuclear Science, Technology and Engineering Conference 2022 (iNuSTEC2022). With the theme “Nuclear Application for the Success of the Sustainable Development Goals, SDGs”, iNuSTEC2022 is the twelfth in a series of conferences hosted by the Malaysian Nuclear Society (MNS) since 2010, through various research institutes and local universities.The support from nuclear science committees from Japan, South Korea, China, Thailand, India, Indonesia, United States as well as the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has taken iNuSTEC to the intenational level. I believe this assembly of researchers will open doors to create more research understandings and collaborations through the participation by scholars and practitioners from universities, research institutions, agencies and industry.Congratulations to the organizing committee for hosting this iNuSTEC2022, together with Nuclear Youth Competition 2022 (NYC2022). My deepest appreciation goes to our keynote speakers, technical co-sponsor and all supporters for their contribution to ensuring the success of this conference.
