Dear Distinguished Authors and GuestsThe Organizing Committee warmly welcomes you to 2019 2nd International Conference on novel functional materials (ICNFM2019), held on 8th−9th’ November, 2019, Shanghai, China.ICNFM2019 aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all aspects of advanced functional materials. It also provides a premier interdisciplinary platform for researchers, practitioners and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the fields of advanced functional materials.The proceeding records the fully refereed papers presented at the conference. The main conference themes and tracks are Advanced Materials Design and Mechanics and other related topics. Hopefully, all participants and other interested readers benefit scientifically from the proceedings and also find it stimulating in the process.We would like to thank the program chairs, organization staff and the members of the program committees for their work.
