Abstract

On behalf of the ICE-ELINVO organizing committee, I am honoured to welcome you to the 3rd International Conference on Electrical, Electronics, Informatics, and Vocational Education held today, 5 October 2020. The conference is organized by the Department of Electronics and Informatics Engineering Education in cooperation with the Department of Electrical Engineering Education, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. Welcome to the 3rd International Conference on Electrical, Electronics, Informatics, and Vocational Education (ICE-ELINVO) 2020.The theme of the 3rd International Conference on Electrical, Electronics, Informatics, and Vocational Education (ICE-ELINVO) 2020 is “Freedom in Learning and Technology to Face the Digital Transformation Era”. As we all know that now is the era of information technology where digital things become everyday things.Everything becomes and is transforming into digital: money, learning, shopping, and everything.Thus, the topic is a hot topic. Digital transformation creates disruption in everyday life, every aspect of life. People use digital technology as a catalysator to transform values into more valuable things never imagined before. Traditional way of doing things is gradually replaced by digital means: from face to face shopping to e-shopping, from traditional teaching and learning in a classroom to e-learning, from traditional way of doing business to e-business.
