This year due to Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the 4th International Conference on Automotive Innovation and Green Energy Vehicle (AiGEV) 2020, was held virtually. All the Keynote sessions and technical session of AiGEV 2020 were successfully conducted through hybrid platform (Online and offline).The objective of AiGEV 2020 Conference is to provide a venue for researchers and practitioners in related fields from academia, industry and government to meet in a forum where the latest research results are presented and prospect for future developments on automotive engineering”. The papers submitted to AiGEV 2020 Conference were single-blind peer-reviewed, at least by two independent referees mainly consists of researchers and passed through several stages of editing procedure.A brief overview on the AiGEV 2020 Conference reveals the following: 36 presented papers in the conference, 2 invited keynote speeches, 1 plenary presentation, 6 conference sections in which the papers were distributed, 122 participants from 6 countries (Malaysia, Germany, UK, India, Indonesia and Thailand). The invited keynote speakers have been professors, outstanding specialists in the field of Automotive engineering from UTP and UTM, Malaysia. The technical sessions presentation was allocated 15 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for comments, questions and answers, and for each paper the total amount of time was 20 minutes (both presentation and Q&A).
