Preface Study of antibacteria potency from capsule of earth-worm extract (Lumbricus Rubellus) and tape-worm (Pheretima Aspergillum) circulated in markets toward bacteria of Escherichia Coli and Staphylococcus Aureus in accordance with ‘In Vitro’

Abstract

This is a preface study that describe antibacteria activity from two supplies of worm capsule circulated in markets. Each capsule contains earthworm extract (Lumbricus rubellus) dan and tape-worm extract (Pheretima aspergillum) toward bacteria of E.coli and S.aureus and to determine KHM. The method used is KHM method with comparator of Amoxicilin antibiotic. The results show that both test supplies provide antibacteria activities toward bacteria E.coli and S.aureus. KHM supply of earthworm is 5% on bacteria E.coli and 1% on bacteria S.aureus, KHM uplly of tape-worm is 10% on bacteria E.coli and 1% on bacteria S.aureus.
