Abstract
Correlation equations of the Ångstrom type have been developed to predict the monthly average daily global solar radiation incident on a horizontal surface at two locations (Bulawayo and Harare) in Zimbabwe. Excellent agreement between measured values and predicted ones using these equations was obtained, as opposed to good and fair agreement obtained using equations from other sources.
