Abstract

While the results of research in the areas of client evaluation, predicting rehabilitation outcomes, and measurement of case difficulty may be of tremendous value to rehabilitation programs, care must be exercised to not draw conclusions or develop methodologies which are not supported by the evidence. Differences in client populations, statistical measurement techniques, agency resources, program goals, and priorities demand selective interpretation for appropriate application of research findings.
