Abstract
Backbone of Indian economy is agriculture which depends on monsoon. Uneven climate change is contributing to irregular patterns of rainfall. Weathering parameters having more impact as compare to soil and nutrient during the crop growth. In this regard there is need to adopt context based precision agriculture system which reframe crop related plan and policies. Our on field wireless sensor network will capture real time temperature, relative humidity, soil moisture and rainfall. User will be given alert about disease and pest attack of sigatoka disease. Also we observed actual situation after alert that is there really attack of disease or pest. The collected data will be analyzed to find the context based optimal pattern for banana crop. Our implementation results show the improvement over traditionally followed agriculture practices with 74% accuracy. The context based optimal pattern we got will be suggested to farmer for next season to produce quality banana with the help of optimal resources.
