Abstract

Visual Inspction technologies are widely applied in the modern production lines und proved their eficiency. They have wide successful upplication fields from the precise electronics devices inspection to the huge power plants monitoring, from the modern industrial producis inspection to the fruits and vegetable classification. To meet with these wide fields of upplications, many progresses have been introduced into the practicul visual inspection technologies. The wide dynamic range TV cameras have heen introduced to observe the speculur objects. Also, sophisticuted i,ptical-electronical LSI has been introduced to get the 3-11 shapes of electronics cr,mponent.s. Also, new kinds of image processing systems have been introduced in the visuol inspection field. High perftrmancr image processing LSIs are continuously designed and applied to many visuul inspection systems and other applications. New .software technologies haw been also introduced to the visual inspection applicutions. The field of visual inspection was e.stahli.shed in early 70.5, and now is expanding its effective field.5 und technologies Here. a part of these expunsions is discussed
