Abstract

This article has discussed the research on teachers who from sports faculty in university in the attainment of information technology and ability in practice, by adopting methods in documentation, induction and deduction, questionnaires survey and mathematical statistics. The result shows that teachers from sports faculty have certain extent knowledge of information technology. They have affirmative attitude in understanding information. Textbook, newspaper and Internet has become the main channel to obtain information for teachers. They can independently make judgment on the value of information resources and establish approaches to get them. Majority of teachers have good ethic and can respect others' effort. At the meantime, the thesis brings out the methods and strategies of how to promote sports faculty teachers' attainment and ability in applying information technology
