Abstract

Abstract Teaching quality evaluation, as an important part of running teaching work in the background of information technology, is an important means to judge teaching levels and improve teaching quality and plays a vital role in strengthening modern teaching management. This paper proposes using gray correlation analysis for the comprehensive evaluation of teaching quality because of the ambiguity and uncertainty presented by the influencing factors in teaching quality evaluation and the unique advantage of gray correlation analysis in dealing with gray systems. The original data is dimensionless, and the analysis and evaluation are conducted after eliminating the dimension. And the components of the comprehensive evaluation of teaching means, including environmental factors, teacher factors and student factors, were explored, an in-depth analysis was conducted on these elements, and the optimization of teaching paths was determined by combining the actual teaching situation with relevant experts. The results show that the results obtained from the evaluation of the effectiveness of classroom teaching in colleges and universities by experts, students and teachers are 2.0222, 2.2195 and 2.0188, respectively, and the data of the three are very close. The evaluation model of school quality based on gray correlation analysis proposed in this paper can accurately and effectively evaluate the teaching quality, which can promote teachers to improve themselves and the teaching quality to achieve the goals of teaching, learning and use.
