Abstract

Isotropic field sensors are essential to monitor the electric field strength in radiated susceptibility testing. Usually these are active sensors that require periodic calibration. The first paper "Experimental Investigation of D Dot Sensor Performance in Frequency Domain" contributed by Rakesh Kichouliya, Sandeep M. Satav and D. C. Pande from Defense R & D Organization, India, proposes an asymmetrical conical dipole (ACD) type sensor for frequency domain field measurement in radiated susceptibility testing. The sensor has no active electronic circuitry and therefore eliminates the need of periodic calibration.
