Abstract
Using a Kosters prism interferometer, experiments have been conducted for comparing the standard slip gages. The fringe system formed by the gages was found to be influenced by lack of parallelism in the film of liquid used for wringing. A novel method has been suggested for eliminating the wedge of the wringing film.
