Abstract
An efficient digital image suppression technique for binary phase shift keying receivers based on independent component analysis is presented. It requires only one antenna and single downconversion path. As a result, the receiver's complexity is much lower than that of quadrature or dual-antenna receivers. Simulation results confirm that the performance of the simplified receiver is comparable to other more complex receivers.
