Abstract

This article analyzes the most typical reasons for the appearance of distortions in the design of the n-shaped portal of the machine, such as the skewing of the portal relative to the guides and the skewing of the spindle axis relative to the machine table that arise during assembly, and also shows methods for detecting and detecting such distortions in the machine design. The article describes the practical experience of the assemblers and adjusters of machine tools manufactured in "Modular Mechanics" Ltd., to eliminate the skewing of the portal frame of CNC milling machines when assembling and assembling the construction of the U-shaped portal.
