Abstract

Shared decision-making (SDM) is the crux of patient-centeredness which respects patient autonomy, value, and faith when preference sensitive treatment options are available such as chronic non-cancer pain management (CNCPM). How health care providers (HCP) adopt SDM into their patient care varies. This systematic review examined the implementation of SDM in CNCPM.
