Abstract

At least half of patients with HF have a low ejection fraction (EF). The cause of two-thirds of cases of systolic HF is coronary artery disease. Furthermore, there are also many other causes which is non-ischemic (e.g viral infection, chemotherapy). Besides, clinical course may be changing to the etiology of systolic HF. Systolic and diastolic functions are important for symptoms and prognosis in HF. Therefore, we aimed to compare systolic and diastolic functions in ischemic and non-ischemic HF.
