Abstract

Performance analysis of a Braysson cycle has been performed using entropy generation minimization or finite time thermodynamics. The analytical formula about power output and efficiency of an endoreversible Braysson cycle with heat resistance losses in the hot and cold-side heat exchangers are derived. The influences of the design parameters on the performance of the cycle are analyzed by detailed numerical examples.
