Abstract

Most of the distribution network in my country is a neutral point resonance grounding system. In various types of faults in the overhead lines of the distribution network, online fault detection and location are the basis for the realization of the power grid system detection function. The online fault location first needs to obtain accurate distribution network operation information, many methods and technologies in the Internet of Things (IoT), have a high reference value for accurately and quickly collecting state information during power system operation. This article mainly introduces the research of power system fault monitoring data analysis based on IoT technology. This paper uses the IoT to perform real-time fault detection on power system faults, and establishes a potential fault location model. The model uses GPRS technology to analyze and evaluate the power system fault status, and use historical data to revise the model to improve the accuracy of power fault status evaluation. The experimental results in this paper show that the fault location model reduces the occurrence of accidents by 26%, and reduces the rate of false alarms and false alarms.
