Abstract

“Power Relations, Homosexuality and the Family: A Review of the Literature, Including Cross-Cultural Studies (Homosexuality and the Family in the Mohave, Chinese and Iraqi Cultures)” is a cross-cultural review and analysis of the literature focussing on a critique of traditional psychoanalytic models. Family dynamics and the etiology of homosexuality, socio-economic aspects of the family and homosexuality as well as cross-cultural studies on homosexuality and family interrelationships are considered.
