Abstract
Analytically determining the fuel consumption and power output of outboard engines of a higher speed little planned boat is difficult. The goal of this study is to see how waste cooking oil (WCO) affects engine efficiency and emissions when used in varying amounts in an outboard fuel engine. Use of waste cooking oil biofuel culminated in lower CO emissions but increased NOx emissions. In addition, waste cooking oil biodiesel indicates a slight increase in specific fuel consumption which may be tolerable considering the decreasing in exhaust emissions.
