Abstract

AbstractDielectric properties of hollow Al2O3 nanoparticle‐dispersed epoxy matrix composites in a frequency range from 18 to 30 GHz have been studied. Hollow Al2O3 nanoparticle‐dispersed composites show lower dielectric properties compared with those of solid α‐Al2O3 nanoparticle‐dispersed ones. The hollow part inside the nanoparticle reduces the effective dielectric constant of Al2O3 nanoparticle‐dispersed composites. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
