Abstract
This research is aim to analyze water quality for green mussel aquaculture approfiateness and economic potency for green mussel aquaculture in Cengkok estuary in Banten Bay. Banten Bay known as area which have variety of fishes including its estuary around the bay. One of its estuary is Cengkok. Cengkok estuary is known as a fishing area that supports fishermen who lived surrounded it. There is an area for aquaculture, agriculture, and fishing settlements in Cengkok that could affect water quality and fish including green mussel. Green mussel aquaculture has been established earlier in this area, but lack management could not bring successful production for it. Water sampling was conducted in April and October 2021. Water quality in Cengkok estuary analyzed by carried out several physical and chemical parameter analysis. There are water depth, brightness, pH, dissolved oxygen, water temperature, turbidity, conductivity, salinity, water current, Total Dissolved Solids, Total Suspended Solids, Chlorophyl-a, Total Nitrogen, Total Phosphorous, Chemical Oxygen Demand, Metals Pb, Fe, and Cr. Economic potency for green mussel aquaculture carried out by interview the fishermen and market research. Determination of water quality status is using PI (Pollution Index). Economic potency described using BMC (Business Canvas Model).
