Abstract
Romania’s joining to the European Union presumes, from the Romanian government, assuming several strategic decisions in implementing the Common Agricultural Politics. These decisions mainly refer to the way in which the financial support shall be given, after joining, to the Romanian farms. The constraints concerning the eligible surface for payments shows that the most important non eligible group of farms in the decoupled financial system, that was adopted by the Romania, are the animal husbandry farms without land and the small agricultural exploitations. The main beneficiary of the financial support after joining the EU are the bigist agricultural exploitations specialized in cereal production.
