Abstract
Abstract A 2-year stand of ‘Saranac AR’ at the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center at Wooster, Ohio was used for this study. Treatments were applied using a tractor-mounted Myers hydraulic sprayer, calibrated to deliver 20 gpa at 20 psi. Plots were 30 x 60 ft and arranged in a randomized complete block design with 4 replicates. The alfalfa was 10 in tall at treatment and 25 in tall at the completion of the study. Cygon was the standard.
