Objective To study the clinical efficacy of the postoperative nursing of traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine in necrotizing pancreatitis .Methods Totals of 98 patients with necrotizing pancreatitis treated by operation and traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine in our hospital during the period from May 2010 to May 2013 were divided into the control group ( postoperative routine nursing ) and the observation group ( postoperative nursing intervention ) . The clinical efficacy and the incidence of postoperative complications in the two groups were observed and compared .Results The effective rate in the observation group accounted for 95.5%.In the control group, the effective rate accounted for 67.4%.There was a statistically significant difference between the two groups (χ2 =13.34,P〈0.05).Two patients in the observation group had pancreatic fistula , accounting for a complication rate of 4.1%.In the control group, one patient (2.0%) had shock, five patients (10.2%) had multi-organ failure, and nine patients had pancreatic fistula, accounting for 30.6%.There was a statistically significant difference between the two groups (χ2 =12.03,P 〈0.05).Conclusions The effective postoperative nursing intervention can increase the clinical efficacy in patients with necrotizing pancreatitis and improve the prognosis quality .
