Abstract
The work includes the published results of domestic and foreign studies on the course and correction of post-embolization syndrome that occurs after embolization of the uterine arteries in the treatment of symptomatic uterine fibroids. The articles were searched in the Pubmed, Web of Science, Scopus, Google Scholar, and еLibrary databases.

Другим механизмом развития болевого симптома является давление на окружающий миометрий со стороны увеличенного в размерах миоматозного узла, связанного с его отеком в результате ишемии после эмболизации маточных артерий (ЭМА) [6]
Что применение лидокаина до процедуры эмболизации маточных артерий (ЭМА) не допустимо, так как это приводит к неполному некрозу миомы матки, вероятно, из-за вазоспазма и применения эмболов более малых размеров во время ЭМА [27, 28]
