Abstract

The post-radiation grafting of acrylamide from acetone solution onto polypropylene films irradiated under vacuum at room temperature, and the kinetics of grafting onto 40–300 μm films at 20–70°C and solution concentrations of 5–20 wt.% are studied. The macrodistribution of the grafted polymer over the film cross-sections at different stages of grafting is studied by IR spectroscopy and optical microscopy.
