Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic was a public health threat both in the physical and psychological aspects. Many side effects were observed in people infected by SARS-CoV-2, including alopecia. This article reviews the available supplementation, treatment support, and therapies for post-COVID-19 hair loss. A variety of sources indicated that the alopecia affected both men and women, regardless of age, background, or social status. Diagnosis and therapy by specialists were a key to resort the normal hair growth cycle and maintain adequate scalp health after SARS-CoV-2 infection.
