Abstract
A finite element formulation including the effects of shear deformation and cylindrically orthotropic material properties is described for studying the post-buckling behaviour of annular plates. Numerical results for the buckling load parameter and ratios of nonlinear load parameter to buckling load parameter for various values of orthotropic properties, thicknesses and radii ratios of the plates are presented.
