Abstract
Comparison of scattering contour diagrams of CO +/CO symmetric charge transfer generated in low-energy crossed-beam experiments shows anomalous results at 1.1 eV collision energy as compared to results at 0.8 and 2.3 eV collision energy. Similarity with Ar +/N 2 at 0.9±0.15 eV and Ar +/O 2 near 0.85 eV may indicate a quantum-mechanical scattering resonance for CO +/CO near 1 eV was postulated for these previous two systems.
