Abstract
Studies on the possible development of radiation resistance in Latheticus oryzae following exposures of its successive generations to ionizing radiation were conducted. The productivity of the irradiated insects decreased with the increase of dose. Experiments with the sixth generation adults of the selected and parent strains showed no significant increase in their estimated LD 50's ( P>0.05).
