Abstract

An analysis of the process of fracture-regeneration of large-block linings of coke-oven batteries of the Stakhanovskii by-product coke plant is used to predict their life and suggest ways for diminishing the probability of crack formation, increasing the crack resistance and the thermal stability, and improving the maintainability of the lining, thus increasing the life and the economic efficiency of large-block coke batteries.
