Abstract

Objectives: Multiple studies show racial disparities for the survival of cervical cancer, which is predominant in women of African American (AA) descent. These at-risk populations may be spared from this survival disadvantage with proper screening and treatment. Our aim was to look at margin status for patients treated with cervical excisional procedures at an inner city, university-based academic teaching center.
