Abstract
A composite control method is proposed in order to carry out the stable and reliable operation of hybrid excitation axial field flux-switching permanent magnet machine(HEAFFSPMM) position sensorless control system in the full-speed range. In the middle- and high-speed ranges, the improved model reference adaptive system with parameter identification can effectively improve the estimation accuracy of the rotor position and the dynamic and steady state performance of the control system. In the zero- and low-speed ranges, the improved pulse high frequency voltage injection combining quasi-proportional resonance and second-order generalized integrator is applied to achieve fast starting and reliable operation of the motor. In addition, the weighted average composite control is used in the transition range to achieve smooth switching between the two speed ranges of HEAFFSPMM. Finally, the experimental verification is completed. The experimental results show that the position sensorless composite control can realize the full-speed operation of the motor, and can effectively improve the control accuracy and performances of the control system.
