Poetry for "A People Lacking" Generally, modern poetry seems for hyperliterate people — or no people at all. Yet, following Anne-Marie Albiach, or Philippe Jacottet, or Georges Perros and Jacques Réda, contemporary poets — William Cliff, James Sacré, Guy Gofette — seem to be "repopulating" modern French poetry.
